  • Foster a mentality of aggressive self-development in Signal School students
  • Delivery of approved instruction to students for each lesson via interactive synchronous and asynchronous learning activities.
  • Periodically review, update, and analyze training materials and recommend changes.
  • Participate in a blended workforce of Government and Contract personnel in the conduct of all in-residence Signal courses at Fort Gordon or other locations designated by the COR.
  • Stand, bend, and stoop for long periods of time while delivering training.
  • Maintain established classroom security requirements and procedures.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
  • At contract start date, instructors shall possess a Secret Security Clearance
  • 25U experience
  • Bachelor degree from an accredited program of study.
  • Combat Net Radio experience.
  • Possess advanced writing skills (e.g. tailoring content and delivery for different audiences using Bloom's Taxonomy).
  • Experience with but not limited to the following radio systems:
    • Radio Wave Propagation
    • HF Operational Characteristics and Mission Planning
    • SINGARS
    • TACSAT Radios
    • Combat Net Radio
    • AN/PRC 117G and 152
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Predominantly Sedentary work. Work is performed in an office environment and requires the ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards. Requires the ability to walk short distances.
  • Exerting up to 15 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
  • Repetitive motion. Substantial movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers. The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading.
