- Foster a mentality of aggressive self-development in Signal School students
- Delivery of approved instruction to students for each lesson via interactive synchronous and asynchronous learning activities.
- Periodically review, update, and analyze training materials and recommend changes.
- Participate in a blended workforce of Government and Contract personnel in the conduct of all in-residence Signal courses at Fort Gordon or other locations designated by the COR.
- Stand, bend, and stoop for long periods of time while delivering training.
- Maintain established classroom security requirements and procedures.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
- At contract start date, instructors shall possess a Secret Security Clearance
- 25U experience
- Bachelor degree from an accredited program of study.
- Combat Net Radio experience.
- Possess advanced writing skills (e.g. tailoring content and delivery for different audiences using Bloom's Taxonomy).
- Experience with but not limited to the following radio systems:
- Radio Wave Propagation
- HF Operational Characteristics and Mission Planning
- SINGARS
- TACSAT Radios
- Combat Net Radio
- AN/PRC 117G and 152
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Predominantly Sedentary work. Work is performed in an office environment and requires the ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards. Requires the ability to walk short distances.
- Exerting up to 15 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
- Repetitive motion. Substantial movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers. The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading.
