SITE/CIVIL ENGINEER - Bryant Associates : Job Details

SUMMARY:The Site/Civil Engineer will be a key member of the Bryant Engineering Team in our Syracuse, NY office, where he/she will perform design calculations and analysis in support of the successful completion of assigned projects for a wide range of public and private sector clients.JOB DESCRIPTION:The Site/Civil Engineer will assist Project Manager with the planning and design of assigned projects that meet technical requirements and are delivered on time and within budget. RESPONSIBILITIES: (OTHER DUTIES MAY BE ASSIGNED)

• Work on design teams in all aspects of given project to develop detailed design documents for construction plans that meet client specs and exceed client expectations
• Perform quantity estimates, detailing and check calculations and drawings
• Conduct code research and write specifications
• Supports Project Manager on other tasks as assigned/needed

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

• BS in Civil Engineering
• 1-2 years of experience preferred
• Previous experience working in a consulting engineering environment a plus

COMPUTER SKILLS

• Proficient in AutoCad Civil 3D
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
