We recognize program quality and give parents information to make choices about their children's care and education.Program Name:East Bay Community Action ProgramProgram Address:35 Dexter StreetNewportRhode Island02840Position Description:East Bay Community Action Program (EBCAP) is hiring for a Site Coordinator in Newport, RI. As a member of the NFCOZ Student Supports Team, the Site Coordinator is responsible for implementing and maintaining the vision of the 21st Century Community Learning Center (CLC) initiative by coordinating programs and services at the Pell Elementary School and increasing access for students to high-quality, high-interest, and comprehensive academic and enrichment opportunities in the community during out-of-school time hours (OST).Responsibilities:Planning Out-of-School Time (OST) activities.Daily supervision of program participants and staff, building and maintaining collaborative relationships with school faculty, staff, and community agencies, promoting parent involvement, and supporting the development and improvement of student's social/emotional learning competencies.Supervise students at the community sites and help support their participation in activities and manage student needs and the logistics of the off-site program such as transportation, family communication, and partner collaboration.Supporting the advancement of NFCOZ initiatives and promoting the philosophy and mission of EBCAP, the NFCOZ, and the goals of the CLC and OST initiatives.For Full Time Employees Working 30 - 40 hours per week, EBCAP provides a comprehensive compensation and benefits package that includes heavily subsidized medical and dental insurance plans (BCBSRI), supplemental vision insurance, voluntary medical and dependent care flexible spending accounts, up to 3% company matching 403(b) retirement plan, employer-paid life insurance & long term disability, generous paid time off that includes vacation/holidays/personal days/sick time, mileage reimbursement, tuition reimbursement, opportunities for center-paid training/CEUs, employee assistance programs, and more.EBCAP is an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer committed to providing a diverse work environment.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in education or human services related field.3 years of community work experience with school age children and families in the areas of: social/emotional learning, behavior management, program development, educational practice, family engagement, and program recruitment.Ability to clearly communicate with staff, parents, community representatives, and volunteers.Attend appropriate in-service and other training to enhance job performance.Multi-task, maintain confidentiality, problem solve, and organize.How To Apply:Please use the following link to apply: Apply Here.#J-18808-Ljbffr
