Work in conjunction with the NCS Lead Supervisor in coordinating all aspects of NCS, including but not limited to

• Reviewing student records to determine potential need for NCS services (e.g. attendance, academic, behavioral)
• Contacting students to recommend NCS participation
• Communicating with

Families

Teachers

Transportation staff

Nutrition staff

New River Valley Community Services (NRVCS) staff

Ensure that students will receive the proper academic, nutritional, and mental health services at NCS daily by ensuring that each of the following is scheduled as necessary:

• Students
• Teachers/tutors
• Mental health counselors
• Snacks and meals
• Transportation for students

Ensure that teachers provide meaningful work for students to complete during NCS.

Obtain parent or guardian permission for students to participate in the following as necessary:

• NCS
• Mental health counseling at NCS

Support motivational incentives for student participation in NCS, including store card incentives and special meals.

Support Standards of Learning testing remediation through NCS.

Complies with and supports school and division-wide regulations and policies, and performs related duties as assigned by the school's principal in accordance with school and division posted policies and practices/models nondiscriminatory practices in all activities.

Other duties assigned by supervisor.
