SITE DEVELOPMENT MANAGER

Job purpose of the Site Development Manager is to provide management and coordination of site development projects. The Site Development Manager will supervise and manage employees and subcontractors for timely, efficient, and accurate completion of the site development project. The Site Development Manager will consult with senior management, design, and sales for a comprehensive understanding of the project goals and specifications. The Project Manager will maintain daily reporting and documentation to protect & promote the interests of Concept 8.

Key duties/ responsibilities of Project manager:

  • Oversee and direct site development projects from conception to completion
  • Review plans and specifications of projects to ensure accurate project completion
  • Maintain accurate job schedules in BuilderTrend.
  • Review projects in-depth to schedule deliverables and assist in developing scopes of work for estimating purposes.
  • Coordinate, mobilize, and operate equipment, as necessary for execution of the site development work.
  • Request PO's from the Purchasing Manager for material orders and any work not previously contracted.
  • Review the PO's for accurate scope of work and accurate material and labor specifications.
  • Coordinate, schedule, and direct construction workers and subcontractors
  • Oversee all site development activity to monitor compliance with building and safety regulations
  • Issue back-charges to subcontractors that create risk, damage or delay. Inform all subcontractors of your decision for backcharge
  • Quantify tools, materials and equipment needed for the construction projects and track inventory
  • Review the work progress daily and report through BuilderTrend with photos and daily logs
  • Review material and subcontractor payables (weekly) for accuracy and completion
  • Prepare internal and external reports pertaining to job status
  • Plan in advance to prevent problems and resolve any emerging ones
  • Analyze, manage and mitigate risks
  • Ensure quality construction standards and proper construction techniques, according to company practice and method
  • Always ensure cleanliness on the jobsite
  • Record timesheets through BuilderTrend daily
