Position Summary

BGI, LLC is seeking a Site Lead to support the MQ-9 CAT/CWD contract at March ARB, CA. The Site Lead is responsible for the performance of all work and has full authority to act for BGI on contract matters relating to daily execution of the MQ-9 CAT/CWD contract. The Site Lead reports to the Director, Service Contracts Division.

Job Responsibilities

  • Assist the Commander or his designated representative by ensuring support for the following duties: scheduling airspace; scheduling MQ-9 training for students; scheduling government instructors to support the training schedule; coordinating with flight management branch to ensure instructor and student flight activities are accurately reflected.
  • Attending meetings (planning, scheduling, etc.) regarding MQ-9 training, staff meetings, or any appropriate local meetings as required by the local government personnel.
  • Shall be on-site during normal duty hours. Be available within 90 minutes of notification/request to meet with government personnel on March ARB to discuss problem areas. After normal duty hours, be available within three (3) hours.
  • Attend safety meetings as required to maintain a level of safety (ground, range, flight, etc.) to operate in the military environment; provide oversight in the building of statistical data related to training and the setting up and maintenance of equipment such as classroom equipment.
  • Provide supervision to employees to ensure compliance with the government contract, BGI policy, and the collective bargaining agreement.
  • Monitor employee work ethics, work schedules, employee daily time entries, and validate time submissions at the end of each pay period.
  • Ensure adequate training is provided for new employees.
  • Maintain a general knowledge of federal and state labor laws.
  • Assign projects and tasks to appropriate team or project leads.
  • Assist customers, when necessary, in the resolution of any issues or problems.
  • Perform other incidental and related duties as required and assigned.

Required and/or Preferred Qualifications (education, experience, licenses, skills)

  • Possess a BS or BA degree (Management, Business Administration, Education, Aerospace Science, or related discipline preferred)
  • Minimum five (5) years of experience in the management of projects or programs of similar size, scope and complexity.
  • Supervisory experience, minimum of 15 direct reports preferred.
  • Demonstrated success in organizational planning and management, oral communications, project management, scheduling, task prioritization, delegation, meeting strict deadlines.
  • Experience with military aircrew training and training support.
  • Possess and maintain a Secret Security clearance.
