Position Summary
RSI is recruiting for a CERCLA/RCRA Site Lead who willis responsible for all site-related activities at their assigned site, identified in the Legacy Management Support (LMS) contract statement of work (SOW) and in accordance with all applicable laws and Department of Energy's Office of Legacy Management (LM)/LMS requirements and procedures. Site Leads and site activities directly support LM Site Managers. Work scope at CERCLA/RCRA sites typically includes operations to support remediation, environmental monitoring, and inspection and maintenance of institutional controls. Several sites are open to the public, and stakeholder engagement is an essential component of this position. Site Leads are responsible for ensuring safe execution of the project team.

Hiring Range: $90,000.00 to $165,000.00 per year.(The anticipated starting salary is based on the posted minimum requirements for this position. The offered salary will be based upon the selected applicant's education, training, and experience.)
This position is required to travel 5% to 10% of the time.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Plan, develop, review, and approve products to meet Contract Deliverables that are identified in the site-specific SOW. This typically includes quarterly and annual reports, updates to Long-Term Stewardship Plans (LTSP), CERCLA/RCRA-related documentation, and environmental monitoring reports.
Manage scope schedule and budget via Earned Value Management System (EVMS) – develop Baseline and serve as Cost Account Manager (CAM) for monthly financial reporting.
Ensure close coordination/collaboration with the LM Site Manager(s) as well as with direct supervisor.
Plan and authorize work under Integrated Work Control Process (IWCP), review and approve Plans of the Week/Plans of the Day (POW/POD).
Maintain communication with Emergency Management, update the Site Emergency Response Information (SERI).
Provide input for routine reporting – Weekly Site Operations and management update, Monthly TSR update, LM status requests, etc.
Provide timely contribution to Functional organizations for Contract Deliverables as requested.
Communicate with regulators and stakeholders as needed in coordination with the LM Site Manager. Includes development of agendas, presentations, meeting notes, and personal communication.
Conduct Management Assessments and support QA with internal and external audits, and address AIMS issues as needed.
Communicate with Functional organizations regarding resource needs.
If assigned direct reports, manage via coordination with HR and Learning. Approve Timesheets, Expense Authorizations (EA) and Expense Reports (ER) as needed. Conduct performance evaluations and mentor staff.
Keep current with all required training.
Manage Records in accordance with Information Management requirements.
Manage FIMS assets in accordance with Asset Management requirements.
Maintain the site Risk Register.
Ensure effective communication and coordination with LM, ECHO, Asset Management and Operations to properly manage the Rocky Flats Interpretive Center.
Maintain communication or delegate responsibility during off-hour activities.
Other duties as assigned.
Required Education and Years of Relevant Experience
Bachelor's degree in Science, Business, Engineering, or related field. Experience in lieu of education will be considered.
15 years of relevant/supervisory experience.
Licenses and Certifications
Valid Driver's License
No professional certification required; Project Management Professional (PMP) certification and/or Professional Geologist (PG)/Professional Engineer (PE) preferred.
Required Skills and Abilities
Proficient in administering project controls processes using EVMS system and procedures for controlling large-scale project.
Proficient with IWCP and Integrated Safety Management System requirements. Excellent communicator, both verbally and in written form.
Knowledge and experience with CERCLA/RCRA regulations and processes.
Experience in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
Demonstrated language, mathematical, and computer skills necessary to perform essential job functions.

Essential Physical Requirements
