As a member of the Site Leadership Team, the Site Logistics Lead has accountability for oversight of production delivery to markets and patients, inclusive of storing and shipping finished product and managing the supply chain end to end.
This role is critical in ensuring the most effective planning and scheduling and distribution of resources across the site in support of patient needs. The Site Logistics Lead will work with the commercial and demand organizations to understand product scenarios, business deliverables related to patient supply and risk management. The Site Logistics Lead will also build capability of the site supply chain team to achieve the best in class supply planning and scheduling performance. This position will also provide leadership in managing the site material storage processes, material movement processes, and logistics infrastructure with adherence to all safety, quality and compliance standards.

* Lead, coach and motivate a team towards delivering the Safety, Quality, Supply Chain Customer Service and Cost objectives.
* Responsible for providing functional leadership for logistics activities on the Marietta site and leading logistics process improvement in pursuit of excellent customer service and supply chain effectiveness.
* Ensure site logistics targets are aligned to site and business objectives, strategy, and that logistics activities comply with regulatory and statutory requirements.
* Ensure strong compliance in Quality, EHS and Data Integrity compliance in directing logistics function in matters related to production planning, materials planning, warehousing and shipping.
* Prepares and monitors annual budget and quarterly projections. Delivers on commitments with focus on volumes, inventories and department spending.
* Develops logistics goals, aligned with those of the site and operations for logistics integration.
* Develops procedures and work instructions to ensure compliance with GMP's, internal control, policies and business rules.
* Manage Warehouse activities in Marietta Site, including 2 or 3 shift operations.
* Implement and accountable for logistics metrics.
* Build alignment with manufacturing and support group for seamless cross functional team. Serve as liaison with other sites as well as customer and suppliers.
* Maintain strong relationship across the logistics network to build a fast flexible and reliable supply and drives changes creating an environment that encourages continuous improvement.

Basic Qualifications:
We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:
* Bachelor's Degree
* Minimum 3 years' direct managerial experience in leading a team.
* Minimum 5 years' experience in supply chain management and or logistics.
Preferred Qualifications:

* Excellent communication/facilitation skills (internal to site and global)
* Ability to develop long term strategies across complex businesses and functions.
* Proficient financial knowledge in modeling, analysis, evaluation and forecasting.
* Experience in site operation and strategic planning
* Leadership and team development with proven capability to lead teams (both line and matrix) to deliver business solutions and benefits.
* Experience working with client groups with ability to influence and challenge stakeholders at various levels.
* Strong knowledge in supply chain processes and supporting systems within a global business environment
* Patients Driven - build high performance culture and strong team to add value to the patients network
* Developing people - Engaging and developing team members by delegating responsibilities and monitor performance by providing necessary resource, coaching and feedback
