Mohawk is currently hiring for a full-time Site Manager! This non-provider, supervisory position is responsible for the day-day activities and operations at their assigned station. This critical role oversees the administrative and operational aspects of our ambulance service station, ensuring compliance with industry regulations, and maintaining a high standard of service delivery. Essential Functions The following is not an exhaustive list of responsibilities for this position. As with all Mohawk staff, the Site Manager may be asked to do other related work as required in support of the broader mission and objectives of the company. Operational Oversight: •Manages and coordinates daily operations of the ambulance service station. •Monitors ambulance fleet readiness, ensuring vehicles are properly equipped and maintained. •Ensures operational protocols are being regularly completed to optimize response times and service efficiency. Staff Management: •Supervises and supports ambulance crews, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment. •Conducts regular audits to ensure staff adherence to protocols, safety measures, and equipment/supply checks. •Works in collaboration with the OC and dispatch center to communicate and respond to any station staffing concerns. •Coaches, mentors, and serves discipline to crew members for pre-determined corrective actions. Administrative Compliance: •Ensures compliance with local, state, and federal regulations governing ambulance services. •Ensures vehicle sheets are completed daily by all crew members and 800 vehicle checks are completed by the 5th of each month. Quality Assurance: •Conducts periodic reviews of ambulance services to identify areas for improvement. •Develops and implements corrective action plans to address any deficiencies. Communication and Collaboration: •Fosters effective communication channels between station personnel, dispatch, and the leadership team. •Serves as a point of contact for escalated issues and emergencies. Qualifications: •Three to five years of equivalent work experience with proven experience in managing and/or supervising staff/crew members. •Strong time management skills. •Excellent organizational and leadership skills. •Effective communication and interpersonal abilities. •Problem-solving and decision-making skills. •Operational knowledge of MS Teams, Word, Excel, and Outlook. •Experience as a provider is not required for this position. Physical Requirements: •Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. •Ability to lift up to 75 pounds (including overhead) in weight. •Ability to stand and participate in physically demanding tasks for periods of time. •Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization's facilities.
