The Site Merchandiser is responsible for creating, managing, and optimizing content across the company's website to ensure a consistent and engaging user experience. This role focuses on building web pages, uploading content, and maintaining the accuracy and quality of all online assets. The Site Merchandiser works closely with the marketing, design, and development teams to support various digital initiatives, including product launches, promotions, and site updates.
This role sits full time on site in Grapevine, TX.
Key Responsibilities:
- Content Creation & Page Building:
- Build and maintain web pages using content management systems (CMS), ensuring alignment with design, brand standards, and user experience best practices.
- Upload, format, and organize written and visual content (images, videos, infographics) for landing pages, product listing pages and app.
- Create and update landing pages and site sections based on marketing campaigns, seasonal trends, and promotions.
- Merchandising Strategy Execution:
- Collaborate with the marketing and e-commerce teams to implement site merchandising strategies that align with business goals, seasonal trends, and promotions.
- Coordinate and execute site content updates, including landing pages, category pages, and featured product placements.
- Optimize product categorization and filtering to enhance user experience and ease of navigation.
- Analyze and adjust product displays to maximize conversion rates and sales performance.
- Promotions & Campaign Management:
- Assist in the setup and execution of online promotions, product launches, and sales events.
- Ensure promotional messaging and offers are effectively displayed and consistent across all customer touchpoints.
- Track campaign performance and provide recommendations for future improvements.
- Site Maintenance & Quality Assurance:
- Regularly audit website content to ensure information is accurate, up-to-date, and consistent across the site.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to update product content, promotions, and other site elements.
- Perform thorough testing to ensure web pages function properly across all devices and browsers, including testing for broken links, formatting issues, and page load times.
- Content Optimization:
- Ensure content is structured for optimal search visibility and accessibility.
- Monitor content performance and make adjustments based on analytics insights to improve engagement and user experience.
- Collaboration & Cross-Functional Support:
- Work closely with the design team to implement visuals that enhance content, ensuring brand consistency across all touchpoints.
- Collaborate with the marketing and e-commerce teams to align content with campaign goals and product launches.
- Coordinate with the development team to resolve any technical issues related to content or page functionality.
- Project Management:
- Manage content projects from conception to completion, ensuring deadlines are met and updates are published in a timely manner.
- Track the progress of content-related tasks in collaboration with internal teams and external vendors when necessary.
- Keep stakeholders informed of project timelines and deliverables.
- Analytics & Reporting:
- Use tools like Google Analytics to monitor content performance, engagement, and user interaction.
- Provide regular reporting on key content metrics and suggest improvements based on user behavior and feedback.
- Support ongoing optimization efforts to improve site performance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in content management, web development, or a similar role.
- Proficiency in content management systems (CMS) like WordPress, Drupal, or Adobe Experience Manager; experience with Amplience and Salesforce Commerce Cloud is a plus.
- Experience with SEO, keyword optimization, and digital content strategies.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Analytical mindset with experience in tools like Google Analytics, Quantum Metrics, PowerBI, or similar platforms.
