Job Description :

Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to join our team and drive the design, deployment, and maintenance of reliable and secure infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform, and observability tools and will be passionate about improving system performance, scalability, and security through automation.

Key Responsibilities

Infrastructure Management:

1. Design, deploy, and manage infrastructure using Terraform and AWS services.

2. Maintain Kubernetes clusters and related workloads.

Service Mesh Management:

1. Implement and manage service meshes (e.g., Istio, Linkerd) to enhance microservices communication and security.

Observability:

1. Implement and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to ensure performance and uptime.

2. Utilize tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or equivalent.

Automation & CI/CD:

1. Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployments and reduce manual processes.

2. Automate recurring tasks to improve operational efficiency.

Network Security:

1. Configure and manage NGINX and other networking components for performance and security.

2. Ensure adherence to security best practices for infrastructure and applications.

Collaboration:

1. Partner with security, development, and operations teams to address scalability and security challenges.

2. Participate in incident response and post-mortem reviews.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Technical Expertise:

1. 5+ Years of Proven experience with AWS services.

2. 5+ Years of Strong understanding of Kubernetes (EKS preferred) and container orchestration.

3. Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform.

4. Familiarity with NGINX configuration and management.

Service Mesh:

1. Hands-on experience with service meshes like Istio or Linkerd.

Observability:

1. Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack).

Networking and Security:

1. Knowledge of network protocols, DNS, load balancers, and firewalls.

2. Experience implementing network security best practices in cloud environments.

Scripting & Automation:

1. Proficiency in at least one scripting language (e.g., Python, Bash).

Nice-to-Have Skills

1. Advanced Python programming for automation and tooling.

2. Exposure to DevSecOps practices and tools.

3. Familiarity with database management (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL).
