Job Location : El Paso,TX, USA
New opportunity in support major MEP upgrades throughout a large military base. This is a full time role requiring five days onsite. This person must have an active EM-385 Certification.
• Attend pre-work meetings and produce job-specific APP and Activity Hazard Analyses (AHAs), in accordance with Company's Safety and Health Program.
• Work as member of the project team, including sub-contractors, to ensure implementation and continuous monitoring and enforcement of the provisions of the project APP and AHAs.
• Ensure that all activities are conducted in accordance with all applicable OSHA and USACE requirements and regulations, the US Army Corps. of Engineers Safety and Health Requirements Manual EM 385-1-1, and other applicable regulations.
• Conduct regular site inspections, recording all violations and noting what remediation needs to occur to keep the project moving safely.
• Prepare comprehensive reports of safety inspections and complete all safety related documentation and paperwork.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
• 5 years of Federal Construction Safety Management
• OSHA 30-hour Construction Safety Certification + CHST certification
• Current First Aid/CPR/AED Training
• Minimum 8-hour certification on EM 385 1.1 + 385 experience
• Must be able to pass DOD security clearance for base access
