Job Title: Solar Site Supervisor

Location: Upstate NY area

Duration: 6+ months

Pay Range: $50/hr, OT after 40

Work Schedule: 40-50 hours each week

Start Date: ASAP interviews and start.

OVERVIEW:

Client is seeking qualified Site Supervisor with experience in Commercial solar projects that include rooftops, canopies, and ground mount systems.

This position will require a high level of traveling.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Oversight of daily Construction activities at the job site
• Will be responsible for daily and weekly progress reporting
• Customer interactions and conflict control
• Will manage the construction schedule and will have some insight into change orders while working with the PM
• Subcontractor oversight and compliance
• Independent work environment, no direct reports. Project team will consist of PM, CM, and interactions with the Safety Manager
• REQUIREMENTS:5+ years of experience managing the construction of commercial solar projects
• Structural steel experience required
• Electrical experience a plus
• Strong Microsoft Office software skills
• Experience with ProCore
• Electrical solar system experience and understanding to communicate with general contractors
• Confident in report writing
• Attention to detail
