Site Supervisor Mother's Day Out and Family Day Out - Respite Care of San Antonio : Job Details

GENERAL DESCRIPTION/PURPOSE The Site Supervisor is responsible for coordinating Mother's Day Out and Family Day Out programs and assists in ensuring the delivery of high-quality day services through curriculum. The Site Supervisor works to ensure every child in care is safe and in a stable, nurturing, and predictable environment so he/she can reach his/her fullest potential. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: • Plan and implement a daily schedule for Programs• Ensure staff meet the needs of children.• Prepare and teach weekly lesson plans following curriculum.• Order supplies needed for lessons and efficient functioning of classroom.• Maintain clean, organized, and attractive classroom.• Help children develop positive attitudes and heightened self-awareness.• Oversee the supervision of children.• Report accidents, complete paperwork, and maintain a copy in child's file.• Create and monitor children's progress on Developmental Checklists.• Using checklist, set goals for children and plans to support child's achievement.• Assist children with self-care, toilet training, and diaper changing. Administrative • Ensure parental compliance with MDO service policies. • Developmental Checklists - assist and ensure completion of monthly and quarterly reports. • Attend agency training and complete training as required. • Assist with special events as directed. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Must be 21 years of age or older and have favorable findings on background checks to include the Texas Department of Public Safety, Texas Department of Health, and Texas Department of Family and Protective Services criminal record checks and negative drug test and negative TB test. -A high school diploma or GED certificate with a bachelor's degree is preferred. -Minimum two years' related experience. Availability for the following schedules:Location: Baptist Temple Church 901 E. Drexel Avenue San Antonio, Texas 78210 Mother's Day Out - Every Sunday, Monday, and Wednesday from 8:15 am to 4:45 pmStarting salary: $15.00/hour with consideration for education and experience from 9:15 am to 4:45 pm.
