This is a direct hire position for 2nd shift. Apply now!Maintenance Technician Responsibilities:- Assists the Maintenance Supervisor to improve the Maintenance departments, premises and grounds- Troubleshoot and repair die cast machine, trim presses, holding furnaces and other secondary equipment - Complete assigned preventive maintenance tasks- Bend / install conduits through 2”, including EMT and rigid types- Install, replace, and repair motor controls, contractors, overloads, relays and limit switches- Troubleshoot programs for controllers- Complete paperwork and forms- Work with subcontractors to complete projects on timeRequirements for Maintenance Technician:- High School Diploma or GED with at least one year of technical school or at two years of experience working on die-cast machinery- Formal training in hydraulics- Experience with electro-mechanics, PLC programming, pneumatics- Computer literate (Microsoft Word and Excel, PLC)- Able to read electrical / hydraulic blueprints in English- Good analytical, problem solving and communication skills- Able to work with minimal supervisionQPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the Midwest.
