Skilled Maintenance WorkerSpringville, NYFull Time. Days/Evenings Flex. On-Call as needed. Some weekends and holidays are required.Compensation $22.66- $24.04 per hour with overtime pay. Based on experience. Shift differentials apply: $.80 - $1.25. As key member of our Maintenance team you'll:

• Perform general maintenance of the Physical Plant for our Hospital and Nursing Home. You'll utilize your knowledge of steam, electrical and plumbing on a daily basis to maintain proper functions of our medical campus.
• Operates and maintains boilers in service of clinical functions as well as heating systems.
• Assists in emergency situations ensuring uninterrupted patient care and access to all associates, patients, and visitors.
• Assists outside vendors/contractors as needed in handling materials for repair or installation
• Performs electrical work/circuit troubleshooting. Performs electrical safety checks of hospital equipment (beds, appliances)
• Perform plumbing troubleshooting, opening pipes and drains, snaking drains as needed.
• Maintain and tests generators and emergency equipment.
• Maintains lawn and grounds, sidewalks, including snow removal at all facilities.

REQUIRES:

• High School diploma or General Education Diploma (GED) preferred
• (2) years of experience in Plumbing and Electrical required
• (2) years of experience with either Boiler maintenance or Computerized HVAC systems
• Construction and Physical plant maintenance experience strongly preferred
• This role requires a history of excellent attendance, highly motivated, self-directed person with strong customer services skills

Will perform work inside and outdoors in any weather, squatting, bending, pushing, and pulling. Regularly lifts heavy weights up to 75 pounds. Prolonged standing, walking, and climbs ladders and scaffolding. Benefits include
