Perform journeyman level work in the installation, maintenance, modification, overhaul, service and repair of all types of heating, ventilating and air conditioning and related systems and equipment. Install, maintain, adjust, modify and perform major overhaul and repair of heating, ventilating, and air conditioning systems by interpreting blueprints, manufacturer specifications, written and verbal instructions. Make initial settings and final adjustments of heating, ventilating, and air conditioning systems and modifying existing installations to obtain required results. Install, troubleshoot, repair or calibrate, and maintain air handling and all related equipment dealing with heating and cooling. Check and adjust complete HVAC systems after installation. Thorough working knowledge of high- and low-pressure boilers. Charge all types of refrigeration equipment.
