The Lead Technologist should exemplify the highest standards expected. The Lead Technologist will work in the Prattville Sleep Center as needed and will act as Head of Staff in the absence of the Manager or Sleep Services Coordinator.

* High school graduate or equivalent required. Basic and or advanced polysomnography courses desired. Prefer proficiency in the principles of polysomnography and electroencephalography. Must have an intermediate understanding of electronics as related to EEG and polysomnographic equipment. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and understanding and sensitivity for patient comfort and confidentiality. Excellent computer skills. Registry or Registry eligible by the Board of Polysomnography Technologist. Must obtain Polysomnographic Registry within 6 months of hire. Basic Life Support (BLS) Instructor and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
