POSITION SUMMARYThe employee in this position is responsible for providing superior service to both internal and external guests. All employees are required to practice the customer courtesy skills of See.Say.Smile to ensure our guests are afforded a remarkable experience. ASlot Attendant must monitor performance of slot machines, player activity, and conditions of the casino slot areas ensuring that all slot machines are operable and identified for repair as necessary.JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES(The following statements are intended as general examples of the duties of this position and are not all-inclusive for specific positions.   • Interact with all guests and employees to positively affect interactions with guests and employees, and demonstrate resiliency to deal with difficult guests in all types of business conditions. Work effectively and courteously with fellow employees.
  • Ensure at all times operating principles are being adhered to:
  • Clean - Keep all areas clean and pristine.
  • Safe - Follow all safety policies and procedures.
  • Friendly - Use customer courtesy skills of See.Say.Smile to provide superior guest service.
  • Fun - Have fun! Be interactive with all internal and external guests while maintaining professional standards.
  • Responsible for developing and maintaining positive guest relations, including but not limited to, resolving minor guest disputes and ensuring the safety and security of all guests and employees.
  • Responsible for verifying jackpots, paying jackpots, completing paper fills and accurately filling out all related paperwork associated with the daily job duties.
  • Performs minor repair to slot machines.
  • Responsible for assisting with beverage service to our patrons.
  • Responsible to have knowledge of patron alcohol limitations and company policy and procedure regarding limitations.
  • Completing all company-required training within designated time frames.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • WORKING CONDITIONS/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
    • Ability to use all equipment associated with the position, including, but not limited to, screwdriver and hand-held radios/headsets.
    • Knowledgeable of basic slot machine functions and the ability to do minor troubleshooting.
    • Ability to complete related paperwork with minimal errors.
    • Ability to create and maintain professional working relationships with personnel from various departments.
    • Ability to read, write and understand simple instructions.
    • Knowledge of Gaming laws and regulations.
    • Knowledge of all special events and promotional activities.
    • Good communication skills both oral and written.
    • Ability to accurately perform assigned duties under frequent time pressures and an interruptive environment.
    • Knowledge of sanitation and health department regulations for safe handling of alcohol.
    • Ability to maintain mental concentration for significant/extended periods of time.
    • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality relative to financial data and company policies and procedures and promotions.
    • Able to handle situations that may arise due to intoxication.
    • Assume a broad variety of tasks that often requires working irregular schedules.
    Must possess the ability to move effectively and efficiently throughout the slot floor - walking 80%, standing 20% - lifting up to 50 lbs, pushing/pulling up to 100lbs.Exposed to electricity and an environment of varying temperatures.Ability to work in a brightly lit, smoked filled casino environment with noise levels.JOB QUALIFICATIONS
    • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
    • 0-2 years casino/slot experience.
    • Must be able to maintain a pleasant, friendly and welcoming attitude at all times.
    • Must be able to obtain and maintain Valid Gaming license.
    • Must be able to receive and maintain all required certification.
    • Must complete all required company training.
