Management reserves the right to change the essential duties of this position description from time to time as necessary POSITION OVERVIEW: This position is responsible for managing the daily activities of the Slot Attendants in an effort to obtain this goal by ensuring all Lucky Eagle Casino & Hotel guests are provided with fast, friendly and knowledgeable service at all times. This position ensures the confidentiality, security and accuracy of guest's and team member's records, and promotes positive guest and team member relations. Strong written and verbal communication skills are required and outstanding guest service to fellow team members, guests, vendors, etc. is expected. Regular attendance is required, and on occasion, later hours or weekend time may be required with project deadlines and a neat well-groomed professional appearance is essential at all times. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY: This position directly supervises Slot Attendants and Slot Technicians I, II, & III. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: The essential function of the Slot Supervisor includes but is not limited to:
  • Ensures the Casino floor is clean and well maintained. Alerts the Management team of any areas of concern.
  • Prepares the required daily reports/summaries and forwards the necessary documents to the appropriate departments.
  • Investigates guest's complaints and completes customer dispute resolutions.
  • Ensures that the highest possible standards of guest service and team member relations are maintained and carried out in a fair, timely, and equitable manner.
  • Promotes teamwork and cooperation with all departments for the benefit and service of casino guests.
  • Provides recognition and positive reinforcement to Host/Slot Techs for going above and beyond their job duties.
  • Promotes Lucky Eagle Casino & Hotel programs and benefits to all team members.
  • Completes and presents introductory, annual and quarterly Host/Slot tech evaluations.
  • Is responsible for the mentoring, teaching and training of the Slot Hosts.
  • Counsels Host/Slot Technicians and administers minor disciplinary actions as needed.
  • Maintains proper Host coverage on the gaming floor.
  • Visually observes and participates in all jackpot payouts in accordance with the Department Jackpot Policy and Procedures.
  • Possess knowledge of State and Federal gaming laws, and adheres to all regulatory, Tribal, Casino and department rules, regulations, policies and procedures.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS: An associate degree in Business Management or related field and/or a combination of equivalent education and experience will be considered. SKILL, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: A minimum of and two (2) years of casino gaming experience required, plus one (1) year of experience in Video Lottery Gaming. Must be a creative, innovative, and motivated self-starter, with the ability to recognize and address departmental needs. Have an in-depth understanding of Tribal Gaming Regulations and Policies & Procedures for gaming tournaments and promotional drawings. Applicant must be fluent in operating computer hardware and software applications on a regular basis, as well as have interpersonal skills using tact and diplomacy. Must be a minimum of 21 years old and have the ability to obtain and retain a Washington State Class III Gaming License; successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by a team member to successfully perform the essential functions of this position. While performing the duties of this position, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger; handle; feel; or grip objects, stretch and/or reach with hands and arms; stoop; crouch or work in cramped or awkward positions; repetitive motions. This person may regularly lift and/or move up to 30+ pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust to focus. ENVIRONMENT: The environment characteristics described here are representative of those a team member may encounter while performing the essential functions of the position. Primarily indoors and may be exposed to heavy smoke and fluctuations in temperature while in and around the Casino and/or Hotel. May also, from time-to-time, be exposed to noise from slot machines, customers, music and public announcement system, as is common in a Casino and/or Hotel environment.
