Job Description: SME Business Analyst
Overview of the Position: ECOMPEX, Inc., a premiere Government Contract (Gov-Con) service provider, is seeking a SME Business Analyst to provide supportive services for a DHS client. This position will be performed on-site.The ECOMPEX career position supports the following:
- Provide on-site support to participate in daily operations, ensuring continuous collaboration with leadership.
- Provide a sustained, on-site presence capable of accepting and managing day-to-day tasks as part of the team.
- Participate in establishment activities, security threat assessments and other vetting activities as needed.
- Must possess ten (10) years of experience in the following areas below.
- Expertise with information technology tools analyzing the deep web to determine transportation links.
- All source intelligence analysis and writing in accordance with Intelligence Community Directives and standards.
- Non attribution and mis-attribution concepts and techniques to provide operational security (OPSEC).
- Experience with the government Watchlisting process to include, TIDE, the Terrorist Screening Dataset (TSDS), and DHS Watchlisting mechanisms such as the Watchlisting Framework (WLF).
- Experience with big data analytics to include ability to perform network analysis.
- Ability to perform team lead/program management related duties such as tasking and summarization of work into material for executives and senior leaders.
- Expertise in publicly available social media and other non-conventional data sources.
- Ability to independently produce written assessments, graphic representations of findings, source documentation, and summary briefings in response to tasking.
- Proven ability to work effectively with personnel at all levels in a team environment and develop solutions to complex problems.
Minimum Qualifications:- Must be a US Citizen.
- Bachelor's degree required in related field of study; Master's Degree preferred.
- Must possess a Top-Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility.
- Ability to obtain and maintain DHS Suitability.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and time management skills.
- Written and verbal communication skills, to include presentation development for senior ranking Government officials.
- Previous exposure to or experience with some or all the relevant analytic tools such as Analyst's Notebook, or other open source or commercially deployed network mapping and correlation tools.
- Experience working closely with, or in, government organizations.
