Job Description :

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Position begins - mid November.
  • Provide advice regarding snow sport lessons & programs.
  • Know the resort's products, prices, hours and availability.
  • Know discounts, special pricing, or other marketing promotions.
  • Answer phones, retrieve voice messages and return calls.
  • Respond to emails directed to snow sports.
  • Handle guest complaints in a professional and diplomatic way.
  • Direct guests & visitors to the appropriate location or staff when required.
  • Make reservations, collect payment, and send confirmations.
  • Check in guests for snow sport lessons.
  • Sell ski and snowboard related products & services (tickets, rentals, lessons).
  • Process cash, credit & gift card transactions accurately & efficiently.
  • Manage the till, count, start cash and prepare nightly deposit bags.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by the manager.
  • Reports to Snow Sports(SS) Director, SS Assistant Director, SS Admin Manager, Director of Guest Experiences and Customer Service Manager.

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, Abilities)

  • Skilled in providing excellent customer service.
  • Specialist knowledge of lesson options and snow sports activities.
  • Computer savvy, able to quickly learn sales and reservation programs.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, friendly and helpful disposition.
  • Outstanding communication skills in person and on the phone.
  • Neat and professional appearance; portray a positive company image.
  • Able to count cash and perform simple mathematical functions.

Core Competencies

  • Plan & prioritize workload to assure all tasks are done & deadlines are met.
  • Communicate ideas effectively and actively listen to guests & co-workers.
  • Teamwork: Interact with team members effectively and put company goals first.

Physical Demands

  • Must be able to lift up to 30lbs.
  • Must be able to stand, sit, and work at computer for long periods of time.
