We embrace change and always look for the next evolution of what we can do. *Internal & External Summary Description: This position is primarily responsible for sales of snowboards and related equipment, and assisting with inventory control to achieve the maximum profitability while continuing to provide the best-in-class guest service for which Christy Sports is known. Job Responsibilities:
- Generate sales for snowboards / boots / bindings by demonstrating excellent knowledge of the equipment and industry
- Boot fitting
- Maintain the high-standard for guest service
- Maintain merchandising of hard good product lines and store cleanliness standards
- Demonstrate the desire to succeed and grow within the company
- Other duties as may be assigned
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Strong snowboard or ski background
- Prior retail sales experience in snowboard equipment
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experienced with POS systems preferred
- Must be able to communicate fluently in accurate spoken and written English
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
- Must be able to routinely lift merchandise, packages and other items of at least 25 pounds
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule to meet store needs, including holidays, nights and weekends
