Snowmakers are an integral part of the Mountain Operations team contributing to the success of the Dartmouth Skiway in numerous capacities.Required Qualifications Basic knowledge/understanding of large machineryGood communication skills and patienceAbility to create quality snow and snow surfaceAbility to follow direction and work in a cold environmentAbility to lift 75 pounds regularlyPassion for snow sports Preferred Qualifications Previous experience working in the outdoorsHigh school graduate or equivalent FLSA: Non-ExemptEmployment Category: Temporary Full TimeKey Accountabilities Operate snowmaking equipment in a mountain environment in inclement weather.Inspect guns, hose, hydrants, and equipment to ensure safe operation.Assist in maintenance duties related to snowmaking and mountain operations systems including but not limited to parking lots, timbering operations, and building maintenance.Assist mountain operations with snow and ice mitigation including shoveling, sanding, and salting on premises.Follow all policies and procedures of the Dartmouth Skiway.Demonstrate a commitment to diversity, inclusion, and cultural awareness through actions, interactions, and communications with others.Perform other duties as assigned.
