As a Fleet Staff member, you will be responsible for the following:

• Overseeing, documenting, and archiving daily safety check of all fleet vehicles
• Establishing, performing, documenting, and archiving monthly personal test drive of all fleet vehicles
• Establishing, overseeing, documenting and archiving daily housekeeping of all fleet vehicles
• Establishing, overseeing, documenting and archiving monthly cleaning and detailing of all fleet vehicles
• Establishing, overseeing, documenting and archiving a formal maintenance program of all fleet vehicles
• Establishing, overseeing, documenting and archiving the outfitting of trucks with proper equipment
• Maintaining fleet as to have backup trucks ready at all times
• Establishing and managing an ongoing relationship with competent mechanic shop(s)
• Performing yearly cost analysis on the viability of an on staff mechanic
• Establishing, overseeing and managing daily as well as long term truck assignment
• Maintaining current, insurance, inspections, registrations for all fleet vehicles

Requirements

• High School Graduate NOT REQUIRED, but preferred
• Must act 100% of the time in best interest of the company
• Takes pride in doing things absolutely correctly
• Attention to detail
• Decision making skills
• Auto parts knowledge
• Valid Drivers Licenses
• Mechanic experience needed for this position
