We are seeking an entrepreneurial, hands-on Social Commerce Director to drive our social commerce strategy and grow Gross Merchandise Value through TikTok Shop, Instagram Shop and other social commerce platforms. The ideal candidate has proven experience in developing and executing social commerce strategies that deliver significant revenue across social platforms. You will be responsible for building and scaling our social commerce initiatives from the ground up, focusing on generating demand for our products, and creating an end-to-end revenue-driving experience within social platforms.

Key Responsibilities:
* Social Commerce Strategy & Execution:
* Lead the development and execution of our social commerce strategy across organic, paid, affiliate and Live shopping.
* Drive significant revenue through social commerce, with a focus on growing GMV (Gross Merchandise Value), incrementality, and halo impact on overall brand.
* Optimize the user journey within social commerce platforms to maximize conversion and revenue.
* Platform Expertise:
* Stay at the forefront of emerging trends and platform updates for TikTok Shop, Instagram Shop, and similar channels.
* Develop strategies to maximize engagement and sales across social commerce platforms by understanding platform mechanics and best practices.
* Leverage TikTok Live and other live-shopping experiences to drive immediate sales conversions, engagement, and brand halo.
* Affiliate Marketing & Influencer Management:
* Lead our affiliate marketing efforts, building strong relationships with influencers, creators, agencies, and affiliate partners.
* Design and implement tiered affiliate programs, including incentive structures and sourcing strategies.
* Ensure that affiliate marketing initiatives are directly tied to measurable revenue outcomes.
* Develop performance-driven content with influencers and creators, ensuring alignment with brand goals and revenue targets.
* Entrepreneurial Leadership:
* Play a critical role in building our social commerce business in an early-stage environment.
* Be a hands-on leader who thrives in a small, nimble team; roll up your sleeves to build, experiment, and optimize strategies.
* Collaborate cross-functionally with DTC, performance marketing, sales, operations, and product marketing teams to align strategies and drive growth.
* Performance Marketing & DTC Selling:
* Leverage your experience in performance marketing and direct-to-consumer (DTC) selling to enhance the effectiveness of social commerce channels.
* Work closely with the DTC team to ensure smooth integration of social commerce initiatives with the broader online sales and omni-channel digital strategy.
Qualifications:
* 10 + years of experience in digital marketing, e-commerce, social media, performance marketing or affiliate marketing.
* Proven experience driving social commerce strategies for consumer-facing product brands, with a strong track record of creating consumer demand and generating significant revenue.
* Deep understanding of current TikTok Shop and Instagram Shop, including platform mechanics, operational nuances, and strategies to optimize performance.
* Strong experience in affiliate marketing, including managing influencers and creators to drive both brand awareness and performance content.
* Demonstrated success in building affiliate programs tied to revenue outcomes, including tiering, incentives, sourcing, briefing, and relationship management.
* Hands-on experience running TikTok Live or other live shopping events.
* Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for building and scaling new revenue channels from scratch.
* Strong performance marketing, e-commerce, or DTC selling experience.
* Results-oriented. Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a builder mentality.

The salary range for this role is $168,030.00 - $205,370.00 DOE
