Forest River, Inc., the Nation's largest manufacturer of Recreational Vehicles, Cargo Trailers, Transit Buses and Boats has an immediate opening for an Administrative Assistant in it's Corporate Office.

POSITION TITLE: Social Media Associate REPORTS TO: Marketing Director

BUSINESS AREA: Forest River LOCATION: Elkhart, IN

Position Overview

At Forest River, Inc., a Social Media Associate is a creative individual who thrives in fast-paced situations, can seamlessly liaise with multiple stakeholders both internally and externally and who has a strong understanding of social media best practices, reporting and analytics. The goal of Forest River, Inc. social media is to build, nurture and grow loyal communities as well as to leverage brand social media platforms to promote our products, generate awareness, grow brand loyalty, and ultimately drive an increase in sales.

This role is responsible for overseeing and growing all social media channels for a portfolio of Forest River brands in the RV Division. This role directly manages content creation (including photography, video and copywriting), and should be the expert in content planning and community management that enables growth and engagement with social media audiences across new and existing platforms.

Responsibilities

DATA & ANALYTICS

* Stay current on platform updates and innovations, applying best practices.

* Monitor competitors in the space and surface relevant learnings to the team.

* Work with the Social Media team to analyze social metrics and present key insights.

* Manage, optimize, and monitor paid strategies and publish reports on results, learnings and successes.

CONTENT & COMMUNITY MANAGEMENT

* For each relevant brand, work with the Brand Manager and Sales and Product teams to develop strategy and recommendations for each social platform.

* Curate authentic and timely content that showcases each brand's unique message and products utilizing writing, photography, videography and other multimedia.

* Plan, shoot and edit photos/videos of RV models per company standards (published guidelines that are subject to change). This includes 360's, interior & exterior photos, walk-thru videos (portrait & landscape), etc.

* Manage posting schedule, strategy and optimization.

* Be the eyes and ears of the brand(s) online; identify conversations or crisis that requires response and route through the appropriate departments for resolution.

* Work with the Brand Manager and Sales and Product teams to develop an effective influencer strategy, with the goal of creating engaging content, third party endorsements and long-term brand advocacy.

* Identify potential advocates (influencers, ambassadors, affiliates) within the brand's social community and share with Brand Manager.

Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in marketing, digital media, PR, communications, creative design, or related field.

* 1-4 years of relevant experience including strong planning, managing, and execution of social media initiatives in a corporate or agency setting.

* Experience using social media-driven creative apps including but not limited to: Canva, CapCut, Adobe Rush, Lightroom, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.

* Community engagement experience.

* Experience using a social media management platform, including but not limited to: Meta,Google, Agorapulse, Sprout Social, etc.

* True subject matter expertise in social media - significant first-hand experience with major platforms, their differences, benefits and unique features, including, but not limited to: TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn, Pinterest and more.

* Experience writing, editing and crafting content for the social media space.

Organizational Structure

The Social Media Associate is a member of the Marketing Department and reports directly to the Brand Manager. Project management will be developed and managed directly between the Social Media Associate and Manager as part of an annual Marketing Plan. Requests coming directly from other business associates should be shared and coordinated together.

The Forest River, Inc. Marketing Department works out of offices in Elkhart, Indiana. Due to the nature of social media, this role blends in-office and time out of the office, with this time coordinated between the Social Media Associate and the Manager.

This role may periodically manage contractors. When managing others, this role may be expected to carry out managerial responsibilities in accordance with company policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities may include interviewing, hiring and training contractors; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and providing constructive feedback; addressing concerns and resolving problems.
