Founded in 1988, Child Development Schools is headquartered in Austin, TX operating over 260 childcare centers in 11 states. Our three early childhood education brands are Childcare Network, Sunrise Preschools, and My Small Wonders. We have a great opportunity for a Social Media Content Specialist to join our growing company!

The Social Media Content Specialist will develop a social media marketing plan, create, and post new content, connecting with the community, and analyzing the success and performance of social media marketing campaigns. This position collaborates with cross-functional teams, including marketing, design, and customer service, to ensure consistent brand messaging and a cohesive social media presence.

• Bachelors degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field or equivalent work experience
• 2-4 years of experience in digital marketing and content creation, preferably within the childcare or education sector.
• Understanding of/proven expertise in social media marketing and social media platforms. Ability to study and interpret social media marketing analytics.
• Active and well-rounded personal presence in social media, with a command of each network and their best practices.
• Excellent communicator and creative thinker, with an ability to use both data and intuition to inform decisions.
• Proficiency in using social media software (e.g. Sprout) to monitor social media conversations. You will be our ear to the ground to route the appropriate marketer, sales rep, and/or support rep to social conversations.
• Great organizational skills; ability to monitor multiple social media platforms concurrently
• Bonus experience and skills include Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, demand generation, inbound marketing, and blogging.

• Build and manage the companys social media profiles and presence, including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, and additional channels that may be deemed relevant.
• Create shareable content appropriate for specific networks to spread both our brand and our content. Content includes videos and photos on companys website, blog, and aforementioned social media channels.
• Monitor and engage in relevant social discussions about our company, competitors, and/or industry, both from existing leads and customers as well as from brand new audiences.
• Run regular social promotions and campaigns and track their success (e.g., Twitter chats, LinkedIn discussions, etc.).
• Work alongside other marketers and content marketers to help distribute content that educates and entertains our audience and supports marketing goals.
• Drive consistent, relevant traffic and leads from our social network presence.
• Explore new ways to engage and identify new social networks to reach our target audience.
• Track, measure and analyze all initiatives to report on key KPIs and social media ROI.
