The Role: We are looking for a talented, charismatic Social Media Manager and Influencer based in West Texas to create, post and promote engaging short-form content for YouTube Shorts, TikTok, Linkedin and Instagram Reels that resonates with our oilfield industry audience.

Responsibilities:

● Develop and create short-form video content for YouTube Shorts, TikTok, Linkedin and Instagram Reels, focusing on the upstream oil and gas industry.

● Plan, shoot, edit, and publish engaging, high-quality videos that highlight unique aspects of working in oil and gas in the Permian Basin and the benefits of Wellsite navigator products.

● Go to oilfield locations, drive lease roads, and interview oilfield workers at their jobs on location. You must be skilled and comfortable with socializing and communicating with oilfield workers

● Collaborate with our marketing team to align content with our brand voice and marketing goals.

● Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends and platform updates, especially within the oil and gas sector.

● Monitor and analyze content performance, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.

● Engage with our audience through comments, messages, and other interactions to build a strong community.

Requirements:

● Proven experience as a Social Media Manager, Content Creator, or Influencer with a significant social media following and engagement.

● Strong portfolio showcasing your work in short-form video content, preferably within the oil and gas industry or related fields.

● Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, or mobile editing apps).

● Excellent storytelling and creative skills.

● Deep understanding of YouTube, TikTok, Linkedin and Instagram platforms.

● Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

● Strong communication and collaboration skills.

● Must live in daytrip driving distance of Midland, Texas.

Preferred Qualifications:

● Experience in the upstream oil and gas industry.

● Familiarity with the unique aspects of life and work in West Texas and the Permian Basin.

● Experience with social media analytics tools.

● Ability to adapt to changing trends and experiment with new content formats.
