Job Overview: We are seeking an energetic, talented and experienced Social Media Manager and Content Creator to join our team. This role involves managing and executing social media strategies for various clients across multiple industries. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in social media strategy, social media management, content curation, and digital marketing, preferably within an agency environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Content Curation & Planning: Develop and curate engaging content for clients, ensuring alignment with their brand voice and strategy. Plan and schedule content calendars in advance to maintain a consistent posting schedule.
- Social Media Strategy: Create, implement, and manage social media plans across all major platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, and TikTok. Develop tailored strategies that align with client objectives and drive engagement.
- Digital Profile Management: Manage and optimize digital profiles for key clients, including Google Business Profiles and other rating platforms, to ensure accurate information and a strong online presence. Regularly add and update content, respond to reviews, monitor ratings, and more.
- Metrics & Reporting: Provide monthly performance reports for each client, analyzing key metrics such as engagement rates, follower growth, and post reach. Use these insights to recommend strategies for improvement and present them to clients.
- Trend Monitoring: Stay up-to-date on social media trends, tools, and best practices to keep our strategies innovative and competitive. Identify new features and platform updates that can benefit client strategies.
- Copywriting: Craft compelling and creative copy for social media posts, campaigns, and other marketing materials. Ensure that the tone and style align with each client's brand voice and resonate with their target audience.
- Client Collaboration: Work closely with clients to understand their goals and tailor social media strategies to meet their objectives. Present strategies and campaign results, and adjust plans based on client feedback.
- Creative Projects: Collaborate with the creative team on brand messaging, branding, photography, videography, and other marketing initiatives to produce high-quality, visually appealing and cohesive brand content.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Social Media Manager, preferably in a marketing or agency environment.
- Proficiency across major social media platforms and management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout Social).
- Strong copywriting and communication skills.
- Ability to analyze social media metrics and develop actionable insights.
- Familiarity with digital marketing and advertising strategies.
- Creative mindset with the ability to generate innovative content ideas.
- Experience managing Google Business Profiles and other digital rating platforms.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field is preferred.
- Preferred Tools: Experience with graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite), analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics), and content planning tools (e.g., Loomly).
