Dean's Team Associate

Together with lead teachers, they are responsible for SEL development, clinical services, planning and consulting with multiple stakeholders and grade teams (though they may seek out guidance and support from the Associates, Partners, Stakeholder Services team).

Their responsibilities also include, but are not limited to, maintaining accurate records of student's progress formally and informally; meeting with colleagues on a regular basis to analyze data, school-wide trends, primary concerns and needs of various schoolhouses, seminar co-planning and other related stakeholder engagement activities. Additionally, Dean's Team members are also responsible for collaborating with their fellow practitioners in developing and curating school culture, intervention planning, operations management, safety, parent and community relations, etc.

Qualifications:

  • Master's in Social Work
  • 3+ years of clinical social work experience
  • A license and certification to practice social work
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to make psychosocial assessments and develop and implement care plans
  • Ability to collaborate and problem-solve
  • Less than three years of elementary school teaching experience
  • Strong general management, communication and leadership skills
  • Results-oriented individual – a self-determined data-driven team leader
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment; flexible, able to work autonomously as well as take direction as needed from the Partnership of Ember
  • Ability to make psychosocial assessments and develop and implement care plans
  • Belief in the mission and educational model, and ability to work with the Partners of our teacher-led firm to achieve Ember's goals
  • Reflective about personal strengths and weaknesses; balance confidence with humility
  • Maturity, strong work ethic, sense of humor, and “roll-up-the-sleeves” attitude
  • Bi-lingual is a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $65,000.00 per year
