Software Application Engineer - Hilite International : Job Details

ACCOUNTABILITY OBJECTIVE: Accountable for software development on new product valve programs to meet customer specifications. DIMENSION: It is intended to be the primary source for software design and development of mechatronic components and modules. REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor or Master degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, Automation Control Engineering, etc. and five to seven years related experience in Embedded Software development in the automotive industry.

Experience in one of C/C++/Python/CAPL (Vector Canoe) programming is a must.

Experience in CAN/LIN bus communication development is a must.

Knowledge of standards such as ISO-17356, ISO-15765, ISO-17987/SAE-J2602, ISO-14229, ISO-27145-4 and ISO-26262 etc. is preferred.

Experience in MCU development driver (ADC, SPI, PWM etc.) based on NXP, ST, Renesas or ARM core is preferred.

Experience in V model of automotive SW development process as well as APSPICE structure is preferred.

Basic motor knowledge required, especially step motor is preferred.

Have know-how in basic testing tools, Oscilloscope, Knowledge of analog and digital circuit, MCU system, CAN/LIN Physical layer is preferred.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Responsible for SW field technical communication as interface between customer and internal team.

Identify the customer requirements and potential risk to archive and classify them to internal document system (Polarion /SharePoint etc.).

Perform basic system test and verification and support debugging to find the root cause of defects.

Write/present relevant technical solutions and assist sales according to the project requirements.

Support other tasks assigned by Manager.
