* We are seeking a Software Engineer to support its federal client in Northern VA. The ideal candidate:* Designing, developing, and modifying applications using Java.* Designing software or customizing software for client use with the aim of optimizing operational efficiency.* Providing the operations and maintenance of operational systems.* Installing, managing, and securing Linux systems.* Updating data in a RDBMS and creating and modifying stored procedures.* Modifying existing software to correct errors, allow it to adapt to new hardware, or to improve its performance.* Develop software system testing and validation procedures.* Documenting code, user guides, user stories, and other references.Knowledge of:* Agile processes and procedures - SAFe, Scrum* Google Web Toolkit* Visual Basic* Oracle or other RDBMS* A&A process and providing support#JENGA#divergentThe successful candidate will bring extensive knowledge of O&M, hands-on experience in cybersecurity engineering and Java development, and an understanding of the agile software development lifecycle.
