- Job Title: Software Developer - Java with COMSEC- Location: Washington, DC- Full-Time position on site- Benefits include complete coverage of medical premiums, IRA with 3% match, holiday bonus, and paid federal holidays- Must have skills in Java, Test Automation, CI/CD, git, COMSEC, and possess a Top Secret clearance- Role involves designing, developing, and implementing next-generation communication security software- Will collaborate with cross-functional teams to create and implement new features- Responsible for integrating and automating testing processes to ensure high-quality software- Directly interface with users and customers for requirement gathering, technical support, and enhancing user experience- Stay updated with industry trends and technologies to keep the software cutting-edge- Requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field- Needs 4-10 years of development experience, particularly using Java- Requires strong understanding of software development principles, data structures, and algorithms- Experience with COMSEC and knowledge of security protocols and encryption technologies is necessary- Must have experience with test automation and CI/CD pipelines- Strong communication skills are necessary to directly interact with users and customers- Familiarity with Git and branching is required- Preferred qualifications include familiarity with TDD, BDD, CI/CD, SBOM's, and IAC.
