Job Description :
ASSYST is seeking a skilled and motivated Software Developer to join our client's development team. Please Note: Position will be remote. The program will allow candidates who are within the State of Texas. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in software design, development, testing, and maintenance, with a strong understanding of programming standards and practices. This position involves working closely with other developers, UX designers, business analysts, and systems analysts. It offers a degree of creative freedom and requires independent judgment to solve complex business and technical problems. Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, implement, and manage complex software applications using technologies including Angular, C#, ASP.NET, and Oracle Database.
  • Collaborate with team members to research and evaluate new software programs.
  • Conduct rigorous testing of applications, including generating test data, writing test scripts, executing sequences, examining results, and debugging errors.
  • Follow established software development methodologies, standards, and best practices for coding, documentation, and testing.
  • Participate actively in code reviews to ensure compliance with development standards and alignment with system and business requirements.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Information Technology or Computer Science.
  • 7 years of experience in computer programming, analysis, and development of complex business processes and system solutions.
  • Proven experience in coding, testing, and debugging software, with expertise in issue resolution, performance enhancement, and support.
  • Proficient in designing program and system logic and preparing detailed program specifications.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with team members and stakeholders.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to motivate colleagues and promote effective collaboration.
  • In-depth knowledge of Information Technology trends, industry directions, and their relevance to organizational goals.
  • Solid understanding of architectural principles and tools related to infrastructure, applications, and organizational structure.
  • Familiarity with emerging technologies in the information systems industry.
  • Experience with data integrity practices and adherence to company standards for technology and security.
  • Practical knowledge of Agile or Scrum methodologies for solution delivery.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 2 years of familiarity with the company's information architecture and information management methodologies.
  • Knowledge of existing and planned software architecture and infrastructure components at global, regional, and local levels.
