Title: Software Developer Status: Exempt Reports to: Tech Lead Salary Range: \$76,608 - \$111,518 per year Mission: Build high-quality software solutions driving real-world product team outcomes. Scorecard: Spend 75% of available time on development tickets. Competencies: Strong logical thinking and reasoning ability. Willingness to test innovative ideas. Maintain awareness of the whole system of the product. Ability to predict the effects of proposed modifications. Passion for bringing ideas to life and solving real problems. Major Responsibilities and Duties: Add value to our products by writing and editing code. Investigate known issues and propose solutions. Continuously learning and always improving skills as a software developer. Complete high-priority tickets effectively and quickly. Evaluate tickets for ability to complete and time to complete. Owns tickets they are assigned to until they are merged, frequently following up on blocked tickets. Collaborate with all members of the product team to arrive at innovative outcomes that solve product needs. Maintain documentation of the product, including domain model and API interface. Ensures the quality of code changes by writing appropriate tests for new code as well as thoroughly manually validating their own work. Review code as required. Spend some time \ on call\ and respond to production emergencies as needed. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications: College degree or comparable work experience. 1+ years of experience. Portfolio of work in a broad range of programming languages, databases, and various technologies. Full stack development experience. Knowledge of MySQL; Cassandra a plus. Knowledge of Docker, Git, and Linux a plus. Works well in a team environment. Willingness to be \'on-call\'.
