Software Developer - Mavin Technologies : Job Details

Job Description

Mavin Technologies, a service-oriented supplier of scalable and secure access control solutions, is looking for a software developer to join our growing development team. This is a hybrid position but potentially fully remote for the right candidate.

The software developer will work collaboratively with a small development team, contributing to the definition, development, testing and deployment of our custom software solutions. The ideal candidate will seamlessly integrate into the existing team, learning from and supporting their fellow developers while leveraging their experience to provide insights that will help to shape the direction of future product development.

What you'll do:

● Design, develop and modify applications in C#, .NET, utilizing SQL skills

● Integrate and support third-party solutions

● Troubleshoot, debug and optimize existing applications

● Work effectively with a high degree of autonomy, within a small, collaboratively minded team

● Adhere to organizational processes and procedures, suggest improvements

● Communicate status of ongoing work internally within the development team and externally with clients, as necessary

What you'll need:

● Proven working experience with C#, .NET

● Working knowledge of SQL

● Excellent problem solving skills

● Ability to work well in a team environment

● Working knowledge of source code repositories (TFS)

Things that will help:

● Experience developing/consuming RESTful APIs

● Experience designing, building and maintaining MS SQL server databases

● Expertise with database design, development and troubleshooting

● Familiarity with WPF, NuGet, nUnit, TeamCity

● Working knowledge of access control systems and low voltage electronics
