Job Description

Are you a Senior Software Developer interested in developing software for an advanced synthetic training environment? Are you excited to join a team that develops multiple modeling and simulation (M&S) tools in support of warfighter training? Then come aboard AMERICAN SYSTEMS as our next Software Developer, Senior!

As the Software Developer, Senior, you will:

Demonstrate a knowledge of standard programming algorithms, design patterns, and object-oriented software design

Evaluate and review C++ language code Programming using C++, Python 3, HTML

Develop Parallel processes, threading, process communication

Develop Web-based applications using development technology

Collaborate with team members to design future enhancements

A week in the life of the Software Developer, includes:

+ Develop software for an advanced synthetic training environment.

+ Support software development, software integration, customer training and demonstrations.

+ Demonstrate a knowledge of standard programming algorithms, design patterns, and object-oriented software design

+ Evaluate and review C++ language code Programming using C++, Python 3, HTML

+ Develop Parallel processes, threading, process communication

+ Develop Web-based applications using development technology

+ Collaborate with team members to design future enhancements

Job Requirements

+ Minimum 10 years of relevant work experience

+ BS in Computer Science or Engineering. Degrees in Information Technology, Mathematics, Physics, or Aerospace, Computer, Software Systems, Electrical, Electronic, Mechanical Engineering may qualify with at least 10 year of C++ experience

+ Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance

+ Must be able to obtain and maintain a Special Access Program (SAP) clearance.

AMERICAN SYSTEMS is committed to pay transparency for our applicants and employee-owners. The salary range for this position is $105,000-176,000. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law.
