Software Development Engineer In Test / QA Automation Engineer - nuArch LLC : Job Details

Our company is seeking a Software Development Engineer In Test / QA Automation Engineer to join our team. The candidate will work on developing and implementing automated test frameworks for our web applications.This role is open to remote candidates, though if possible, those that can come in 2-3 times a week would be ideal. This a contract role for one of our projects, and we can work via W2 or C2C. We are only looking for candidates in the U.S.A and do not offer sponsorship or relocation assistance.Our interview process has 2 rounds - an intro call + technical interview, and an interview with the project team. Responsibilities:Design, develop, and maintain an automation framework using best practicesWrite and execute automated test cases using Selenium, Java, and CucumberDevelop and maintain automation scripts for data-driven testingTroubleshoot and debug issues with test automation scriptsCollaborate with development and testing teams to identify and prioritize automation opportunitiesParticipate in code reviews to ensure automation scripts and frameworks are maintainable, reusable, and scalableStay up-to-date with new testing methodologies, tools, and technologiesCreate and escalate defects to development teamWrite test cases, test scenarios, and identify candidates for automationMinimum Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related fieldExcellent problem-solving and debugging skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsMust be located within the U.S.A. and authorized to work in the countryComfortable with Java and OOP best practicesNice to Have:At least 3 years of experience in software automation testingGreat understanding of Selenium, Java, and CucumberExpertise in XPath and the ability to write complex XPath queriesExperience in building an automation framework from scratchExperience in data-driven testing and developing automation scriptsThe compensation range for this position is between $60,000 and $75,000.
