Title: Software Development Manager

Location: Warwick, RI (2 day onsite, 3 days remote)

Salary: Up to $130,000 + 10% Bonus

Interview Process: 2-3 Rounds (Virtual and Onsite)

Job Description:

The Software Development Manager is responsible for managing implementation projects and team members to ensure the successful and timely implementation of Lottery products. The ideal candidate is responsible for being the leader of the team that promotes innovation, growth and customer satisfaction. This candidate must effectively understand and analyze both business and technical requirements while keeping in mind the big picture in the development of the company's future products. This position must demonstrate a high degree of initiative and is accountable for the thorough implementation of all software related tasks. The Software Development Manager reports to, and is directed by, the Director of Software Development.

- 20% Travel Required both Domestic and International

• Candidate will be required to be on On-Site 1-2 Days a week in Warwick, Rhode Island

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Management, or Engineering, etc.
• 8+ years in application development, preferably in a large-scale transaction processing or other complex system
• Development experience/familiarity with, JAVA, ANGULAR, JavaScript, CSS, Web services, SQL Server, AJAX.
• 4+ years IT management experience
• Proven experience managing internal and external customers

Experience in Customer Interaction and Requirements Analysis

• Experience in Software design/architecture, Network architecture, Web programming, Database programming, Source Control/Configuration, and User interface implementation

Strong experience in back-end Java development.

Strong experience within SQL (syntax/database management).

Proficient with Windows, Web Services, etc.

• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to multi-task and context switching.
• Knowledge regarding Agile Development processes and methodologies, overall software operations.

Compensation:

$__100,000______ to $__130,000________ per year annual salary.
