Software Engineer II - TDW : Job Details

Overview: Responsible for developing and de-bugging TDW software supporting existing and new products, providing cost and time estimates and writing improvement plans. Cooperate with global engineering team on continuous improvement activities. Responsibilities: Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:

• Applies knowledge of engineering principles to develop, test, and verify software applications and GUI's
• Developing reusable and precise test specification cases, processes, and standards, ensuring accuracy of test results
• Accelerate the innovation and delivery of products
• Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test methodologies
• Pro-active investigation/verification of defects and continuous improvement of regression tests
• Design software applications and graphical user interfaces based on written specifications and feedback from users
• Work directly with engineers to create innovative solutions
• Maintain and debug existing applications

Experience

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or related field and or equivalent industry experience
• Experience with development methodologies
• Experience with creating and executing test plans and test cases

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Preferred programming languages: C and/or Delphi
• Knowledge of object-oriented programming and test-driven development
• Knowledge of relation databases, i.e. SQL servers
