Job DescriptionSummary: Software engineers are stewards of the codebase underpinning CountySuite, Teleosoft's flagship family of products. As a software engineer, you will partner with product & customer advocates to implement new features; enhance existing functionality; and remediate defects. You will work towards the continuous improvement of the people, process, and technology behind CountySuite. Anyone can write code. Anyone can be a developer. But it's a different, rare breed of person who possesses the aptitude, joy, curiosity, humility, accountability, and passion to be a software engineer at Teleosoft. Supervisory Responsibilities: No formal supervisory responsibility. Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Write C# .NET, T-SQL, TypeScript, & React code
  • Develop according to best practices, design patterns, & code standards
  • Optimize every detail to consistently apply UX best practices
  • Deliver high-quality work product free of bugs or defects
  • Collaborate with product & customer advocates to define & refine requirements
  • Interpret product & customer requirements as documented in work items
  • Implement new features, enhance existing functionality, & remediate defects
  • Work to maintain, upgrade, & optimize existing codebase
  • Participate in code review to constructively provide & receive peer feedback
  • Collaborate with peers & leaders to mitigate risks & overcome obstacles
  • Participate in continuous improvement process, contributing both ideas & effort
  • Adopt a collaborative, solution-oriented attitude towards problem solving

Education and Experience:
  • Professional experience working as a software engineer or similar role
  • Proficiency with programming languages & concepts
  • Familiarity with various software development methodologies & patterns
  • Demonstrated ability to produce a functional application
  • Strong executive function (organization, collaboration, communication, etc.)
  • Strong analytical & problem-solving skills
  • Professional experience with the following languages: C#, TypeScript, T-SQL
  • Professional experience with the following frameworks: .NET Framework & .NET Core, .NET Entity Framework, ASP.NET MVC, React
  • Professional experience with the following tools: Windows Server, SQL Server, IIS, Visual Studio / Code, Git SCM, Azure DevOps
