Position Summary

Seeking an IS ServiceNow Engineer that will work closely with all departments of the company and be situated within the Information Systems department to lead the continuous improvement and development of the ITSM and SPM modules and lead system architecture, assess departmental need requirements and manage additional implementations, oversee NOW platform workflows and administration, and perform testing and upgrades within corporate instances.

ServiceNow Engineer Critical Responsibilities:

  • Architects and administers the overall development, support, and continuous improvement of ServiceNow instances.
  • Oversees and maintains regular patch management, platform updates, and data integrity assessments.
  • Collaborates with departments and stakeholders to facilitate successful system and process changes in addition to module and add-on implementations.
  • Develops, tests, and deploys workflow enhancements, system integrations, and platform applications within defined change management processes.
  • Responsible for system end-to-end information flow, user/role/group management, and related RBAC and GRC strategies.
  • Familiarity and understanding of common web services (REST API, JSON, SOAP, OAuth).
  • Assist in developing ServiceNow policies, procedures, and training materials for end users and specific use case scenarios.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or a related field is preferred.
  • A minimum of 3 years working in a ServiceNow administration, development, or related role.
  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator certification required.
  • ServiceNow Certified Application Developer certification preferred.
  • Proficient knowledge of ServiceNow ITSM and SPM modules required.
  • Working knowledge of ITAM, ITOM, GRC, Discovery and related modules preferred.
  • Active experience with problem, change, and release management development cycles.
  • Highly skilled in interpersonal relationships and customer service, assessing and prioritizing multiple tasks, projects and demands, working under pressure and managing time.
  • Must pass a pre-employment background check.
