Job Description:

As a Senior Software Engineer, you'll join our engineering group within the Global Business Solutions division. Seeking a passionate problem-solver who can balance platform stability with modern engineering practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Hands-on software engineer for online transaction processing (OLTP) applications based on C and TAL on the HP NonStop platform.
• Deliver high-quality code to integration testing, certification, and production environments.
• Automate testing and deployments using CI/CD processes, taking on a QE role when necessary.
• Design, build, and support aligned applications or platforms.
• Own technical stories, participate in code reviews, and support production.
• Design efficient, effective, and reusable technical solutions.
• Collaborate effectively with DevOps, Production Support, and peer platform teams.

Basic Qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience in software engineering roles.
• 7+ years of experience with HP NonStop.
• 5+ years of experience with C and TAL.
• 5+ years of experience with Enscribe, Pathway, DDL, and SQL Server MP (NonStop).
• 3+ years of experience in payments processing.
• 3+ years of experience in engineering OLTP applications.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact with peers and senior leaders.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent work experience.
• Expertise in SQL MX and OSS.
