Software Engineer - Motion Recruitment : Job Details

Our client, a worldwide entertainment company, is looking for someone to join their team as a Software Engineer. This role is fully remote or hybrid in San Francisco, CA.

*This is a year long W2 contract*

In this role, you will design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for enhancements and new products. The team is looking for someone who can manage individual project priorities, deadlines and deliverables with your technical expertise.

What You Will Be Doing

• Develop software and tools in support of design, infrastructure and technology platforms, including operating systems, compilers, routers, networks, utilities, databases and Internet-related tools
• Providing solutions that are simple, maintainable, and well abstracted
• Implements proof-of-concepts with new technologies
• Mentor and train other team members on design techniques, and coding standards

What You Will Be Doing

• 5-8 years of experience building distributed and scalable software
• Built software using Go (Golang) or similar languages and are familiar with NLU/NLP
• Experience in Voice features is a plus
• Understanding of public cloud design like AWS or GCE
• You understand virtualization technologies Docker and Kubernetes
