LOCATION: Ridgefield, WA (Hybrid - 1 day a week onsite)
Essential Duties:
- Build and maintain key features of our e-commerce platform that directly impact the customer experience.
- Contribute to the development and improvement of our front-end architecture and ensure high-quality code through testing and code reviews.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams (product, design) to deliver exceptional user experiences and contribute to the overall success of the company.
Job Duties:
- Participate in daily stand-up meetings to discuss progress and challenges.
- Translate user stories and design mockups into functional code.
- Write unit and integration tests to ensure code quality.
- Conduct code reviews for peers and provide constructive feedback.
- Collaborate with other engineers through pair programming sessions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve bugs.
- Contribute to technical documentation and knowledge sharing within the team.
- Participate in sprint planning and estimation sessions.
- Monitor application performance and identify areas for improvement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in front-end web development with React.js.
- Experience with JavaScript and TypeScript
- Experience with Remix is a strong plus.
- Solid understanding of APIs, databases, and modern front-end architectures.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Enthusiasm for collaborative development practices.
