Software Engineer Trainee - Mill-Max Manufacturing : Job Details

Description Mill-Max Mfg. Corp., one of the world's leading manufacturers of electronic interconnect components, has a great opportunity available to join our Software Engineering Team in Oyster Bay, New York. Job Responsibilities:

• Analyze and modify code to support existing applications.
• Consult with users to gather specs, write code, and develop solutions for new applications.
• Thoroughly debug, test, document, and gain user acceptance.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelors' Degree in Computer Science
• 1 - 2 years related work experience a plus.
• A strong, structured programming background in VB.
• Experience in systems design or a solid understanding of software development, program lifecycle, database development (Oracle and/or SQL), unit testing and integrated system testing.
• Must be able to work independently as well as in a team.
• Knowledge of Inventory and Manufacturing-related systems helpful.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

Job Details:

• Reports to Department Manager
• Full-Time Salaried Employee
• First Shift: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday - Friday
• Pay: $60,000 - $90,000 annually
