**Role Summary**

The Host/ess is responsible for initial guest interaction at the door, the Host/ess welcomes all who enter warmly, setting the tone for each guests experience. The Host/ess is expected to embody the hospitality and charm and professionalism of our organization

**Core Responsibilities**

Please note that this is not an exhaustive list of everything that needs to be done! Within the Auberge family, our people always find new ways to look after the business, their guests, and their team-mates. Within this, the key responsibilities for this position are:

* Answering phones, managing reservations, showing guests to tables and maintaining the flow of service throughout the dining room.

* Must provide pleasant, conscientious, and professional customer service.

**Required Qualifications**

Position requires knowledge of computers as well as ability to answer multiple phone lines. Prior restaurant experience preferred. Must be able to multitask. Must be able to walk or stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds. Candidate must have flexible work schedule as well and work holidays.

This is a hourly positions position
