As a Solutions Consultant at TailorMed, you will be an individual contributor on our global Product team and play a critical role in driving our company's growth by partnering closely with the Sales team to understand customer needs, design tailored solutions, and effectively communicate the value proposition of our products and services to customers. You will be responsible for interviewing customers, conducting product demos, architecting the right solution for each customer, crafting proposals and Statements of Work (SOWs), and responding to Request for Proposals (RFPs). Your expertise will be essential in ensuring our products align with both customer requirements and company capabilities and contribute to our overall sales success and company strategy.

This is a hybrid role with the requirement of working out of our NYC office (Union Square) two to three days each week.

Responsibilities
  • Sales Support: Collaborate closely with the sales team, providing them with technical insights and guidance to advance sales opportunities throughout the pre-sales process.
  • Solution Architecture and Design: Work with customers to understand their business drivers, requirements, and challenges, architect solutions that address their unique business problems.
  • Product Demos: Conduct engaging and informative product demonstrations to customers, showcasing how our solutions meet their specific needs and deliver value.
  • Proposal and SOW Creation: Develop detailed proposals and Statements of Work (SOWs) that outline project scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, and pricing, ensuring alignment with customer expectations and company capabilities.
  • RFP Responses: Prepare thorough and compelling responses to Request for Proposals (RFPs), addressing technical and business requirements to position our solutions as the best choice for the customer.
  • Customer Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, acting as a trusted advisor throughout their decision-making process.
  • Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, competitive products, and emerging technologies to provide valuable insights and guidance to the product development team.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Computer Science, Business, Engineering), or equivalent experience. MBA or relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, PMI-PBA) a plus.
  • In-depth understanding of the healthcare ecosystem and of cloud-based healthcare solutions - experience in the digital health space is a must.
  • 3-5 years of proven experience in pre-sales or solutions product management of a software solution focused on the financial aspect of medication.
  • Strong technical background with the ability to understand and communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including sales, engineering, and marketing.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to think creatively to design innovative solutions.
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies and best practices is a plus.
