Sonographer

This is a PRN role and the rate is $44/hr.

As a Sonographer with St. Luke's part of CommonSpirit Health you will perform ultrasound exams on patients according to the specific departmental procedure protocols under the directionof the Medical Director.

To be successful in this role, you must have a solid knowledge of imaging equipment and proper patient positioning to produce and analyze quality electrocardiograms. Youll continuously strive to deliver a positive experience to our patients and their caregivers.

• Performs clinical assessment and diagnostic sonography examinations
• Analyses sonograms, synthesizes sonographic information with medical history, and communicates findings to theappropriate physician
• Ensure optimal imaging quality by performing quality checks on diagnostic equipment

• Associates Degree preferredActive certification by American Registry of DiagnosticMedical Sonographers (ARDMS) or ARRT
• Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association
• Preference: RVT
